Barbara O’Docharty has been on staff at JCP since 1998 and has enjoyed helping to coordinate multiple programs – morning session, afternoon session, and summer camp. Originally born in Alaska, Barbara’s background includes numerous moves around the US and raising two children of her own. She has taken numerous courses in the field of Early Childhood Education, and is considered the resident expert on state licensing requirements. Barbara brings her love of art and esthetics as well as her skill at management & organization to the preschool. Her skills are on display in the classroom, especially in the areas of varied art experiences, working with children with special needs, and setting up appropriate learning environments. Barbara is also a skilled photographer and hair-stylist!
