Honoring Israel: From Yom HaZikaron to Yom Ha’atzma'ut

Come join Rabbi Eric Solomon on on Tuesday April 28 at 730PM as we honor the transition from Israel’s Memorial Day to Israel’s Independence Day with recorded interviews of Yosi and Netta Cohen (former Beth Meyer members who now live on Kibbutz Hanaton) and Michele Zaremba (daughter of John and Janis Zaremba who grew up at Beth Meyer and recently made aliyah). Hear about their experiences living in Israel and how these days shape their Israeli and Jewish identities. There will be opportunities for reflection, sharing, song, and the lighting of a Yizkor candle in honor of all those who have died in defense of the State of Israel and in acts of terror.
