Progressive Kehillah: Being Jewish, Being Progressive; Exploring Jewish Identity

Monday, June 21, 2021 11 Tammuz 5781

7:30 PM - 9:00 PMZoom

For some in our community being Jewish has meant a lifetime commitment to progressive political values and action. What are the influences, experiences and beliefs in our lives as Jews that lead individuals to make such a commitment? And how do Jewish ethics provide the foundation for our vision of society and human relations.

This evening three members of Beth Meyer, Jim Doerfler, Deborah Goldstein and Svi Shapiro will share their life stories exploring how Jewish experience, values and moral vision have shaped them as people deeply committed to a world of social justice, and inclusive democracy.

Following this we are sure that the words of our panel will be a catalyst for some interesting and stimulating discussion. Register below to receive the Zoom link.
