Nitzanim-Mahar
Nitzanim is a Hebrew word meaning "seeds." This groups is for children in grades K through 2. Our youngest children are the seeds of our youth programs. Several times each year, the Nitzanim kids meet after religious school on a Sunday morning. Usually they bring a dairy/parve lunch (we provide drinks and snacks) and we eat together as a group after the rest of school has been dismissed. Then we have a program which varies each time. It may include crafts, games, and sometimes movies, but it is always lots of fun!
Mahar is a Hebrew word meaning "tomorrow." This group is for children in grades 3 through 5. These children are the youth group leaders of tomorrow! Several times each year, the Mahar kids meet after religious school on a Sunday morning. After school is dismissed, they eat lunch together (they should bring a dairy/parve lunch) and then participate in a fun activity. Mahar activities include games, crafts, movies and social action projects. Come join the fun!
