Join Rabbi Jenny Solomon for a workshop in prayerful music. The goals of the workshop are to:
- introduce new melodies for increased participation/engagement in weekly Shabbat and Rosh Hashanah/Yom Kippur services
- teach harmonies to "new" and "newer" melodies to more fully express the beauty of the prayers
- open our hearts in preparation for the Yamim Noraim (Days of Awe)
- create prayer/music together simply for "simha shel mitzvah" (the joy of the mitzvah)
If you cannot attend both sessions, please feel free to attend just one. Recordings of all material covered will be provided.
