In 2014, Beth Meyer launched a voluntary donation initiative to provide our community with a full-time, professional programming and youth coordinator and increase the amount of organized activities for all ages of our community. Using these Trumot HaLev - Gifts of the Heart, we have been successful in increasing the depth and breadth of our programming. Working with paid and volunteer program managers, we intend to continue offering all the great weekly and holiday programs you have grown to love and expect -- and also to expand evening and weekend spiritual and learning opportunities for members of all ages. Image result for gift of the heart

We are inviting you to join the Trumot HaLev program and help continue to provide enriching activities for our congregation. Your 100% tax-deductible gift will be acknowledged with recognition during the High Holy Days in the honors booklet, on lobby signage, and in HaMaggid, our monthly bulletin.

Our programs and services inspire and educate everyone from toddlers to our most senior members. These are critical programs, but they could not happen without your generous support. While participation in synagogue programming has never been stronger, our dues only cover 69% of our operating expenses. We are asking for your Trumot HaLev to support and expand our community programming. Our other donation programs, such as the Kol Nidre Appeal, are designed to provide membership assistance to those less fortunate and cover the gap between dues income and synagogue operating expenses. Your Trumot HaLev will help Beth Meyer continue to provide a wide variety of programs for all members.

Trumot HaLev is a voluntary donation in addition to yearly dues. For information about making your pledge, contact our Director of Operations at director@bethmeyer.org or 919-848-1420.
