Canned foods, baby gear, musical instruments — our members are regularly organizing to collect essential goods to sustain the most vulnerable among us and meet our community’s expanding needs. We also sometimes request in-kind donations of specific classroom supplies and resources to enrich our school programs.

Kol Nidre — Food Drive for Inter-Faith Food Shuttle
Contact: Ana Pugatch, Program Manager
Collection Dates: September 3, 2024 - October 11, 2024
The fast of Yom Kippur can sensitize us to the plight of food insecurity and hunger. Operation Isaiah is a movement-wide project of United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism to collect bags of non-perishable foods for distribution at food banks, pantries, and soup kitchens, and we've signed up to help. Drop off a bag at Beth Meyer Synagogue anytime before the Kol Nidre prayer service, and we'll bring it to Inter-Faith Food Shuttle, this year's drive beneficiary. Click here to support the Food Shuttle's work.
