There is a simple answer to why Ben and I contribute to the financial health of Beth Meyer — because it matters. As congregants, we are all fortunate to be part of this vibrant and thriving Jewish community. One that attends not only to our spiritual wellbeing, but also creates a space that is uniquely ours — where we are welcome and safe. Where we don’t need to explain our differences, but instead can celebrate them. Within these walls, virtual and real, we are family. And families take care of each other.
