Welcome to Beth Meyer Preschool! Since 1989, our center for early childhood education has nurtured children ages twelve months through pre-kindergarten by focusing on their social, physical, intellectual, creative, emotional and spiritual development. Beth Meyer Preschool is a flagship program of Beth Meyer Synagogue, but we welcome all learners — irrespective of religious identity and background — to join us as we explore together. You do not need to be a member of Beth Meyer Synagogue to enroll your child here.
Beth Meyer Preschool holds a five star-rated license from the North Carolina Division of Child Development and Early Childhood Education in recognition of the quality of our program and our teachers’ commitment to training and growth. Our work is rooted in three guiding principles:
• Provide authentic, hands-on learning experiences inspired by Jewish values.
• Partner with families and community members to care for the whole child.
• Support play-based, developmentally appropriate activities focused on interdisciplinary concepts.
New! REACH, a collaboration of Wake County Smart Start, North Carolina Farm to Early Care and Education, and Go NAPSACC, has recognized Beth Meyer Preschool as a leader in children's health for its excellence in outdoor play and learning. Click here for information about this award.
