בָּאנוּ חֹשֶךְ לְגָרֵשׁ
Banu Hoshekh Ligaresh
We have come to cast out darkness
The miracle of the oil reminds us that even a small flame can illuminate the darkness. This Hanukkah, we’ll rekindle our spirits and support one another, creating a space where warmth and radiance shine through. Members — join us as we celebrate the Festival of Lights and brighten our world together!

Hanukkah begins Sunday, Dec. 14! Celebrate the Festival of Lights all week long with Beth Meyer Synagogue — full of joy, song, community, and latkes. For event details and registration, visit the links below. Hag urim sameah! חַג אוּרִים שָמֵח
In preparation for our Hanukkah events, Men’s Club will be making latkes from scratch this year! This activity will be led by Arthur Gordon, long-time Beth Meyer member and founder of the Irregardless Café. All members (ages 13+) are welcome to come and lend a hand in the kitchen on the evening of Wednesday, Dec. 3, or the afternoon of Sunday, Dec. 7. You can help make ’em, bake ’em, or both!—here is the sign-up sheet. This is a great opportunity to learn how to make homemade latkes, or lend your expertise. We hope to see you there!
