Beth Meyer Synagogue and Jewish Federation of Greater Raleigh present a book talk and signing with author and community member Sharon Kurtzman, who will be honored as our Shoah speaker on Yom Kippur.

At this wine and cheese social, Sharon will give a reading from her novel, The Lost Baker of Vienna, which will be released on Aug. 19, and discuss the creative process behind her work of historical fiction. Sharon’s family’s survival story inspired this sweeping saga of resilience, loss, love, and the reverberating effects of World War II and the Holocaust.
