Did you know we have a Jewish “Earth Day” that is thousands of years old? Judaism has long advocated for responsible stewardship of our planet and Jewish mysticism (Kabbalah) seized the spiritual import of Tu B’Shvat with an invitation to see the seeds and fruits of the earth as symbols of new life and potential growth. This holiday, rich with meaning, reminds us that NOW is the time to plant seeds as we prepare for spring. You can celebrate in your own creative way! Come and learn how you might observe this holiday in your own home. This drop-in class is designed for adults at every age and stage.
