July 3rd Picnic
Friday, July 3, 2020 • 11 Tammuz 5780
5:30 PM - 7:00 PMFieldJoin your Beth Meyer family from 5:30-7 p.m. with a FREE community picnic to bring in Shabbat and celebrate Independence Day! This is our first Beth Meyer Synagogue reopening event and in light of COVID-19, we have safety measures in place.
Here are the guidelines:
Food: Please bring your own dairy/parve food and blanket/chairs.
Hand Cleaning: We will have hand sanitizer, cleaning wipes, and masks available for use at the event.
Social Distancing: At this event we will maintain the required 6 ft social distance. These distances will be pre-measured ahead of time and marked for families to know exactly which space they can put their picnic supplies, blankets and chairs.
Outdoors: This event will be held outdoors. Please bring sunscreen, bug repellent, sunglasses, a hat and a water bottle to ensure you stay safe in the sun.
Face Covering Usage: Because of Governor Roy Cooper's mask requirement announcement, all participants and staff are required to wear masks for the duration of the picnic except while actively eating.
Bathroom Usage: Bathrooms will be open and usable, but only one person will be allowed into each gendered bathroom at a time. Please listen to the bathroom attendant to stay safe when going into the building.
This is a free event, however, please RSVP through the ticketing link to register. We are excited to celebrate with you!
Sorry, Registration has ended.
