Leket Israel collects surplus healthy food, fruit and vegetables from farmers, and cooked meals from hotels, corporate cafeterias, and IDF army bases — and redistributes it through a network of 300 nonprofit organizations. Leket Israel provides food to 415,000+ Israelis in need regardless of race, gender, religion, or age.
About our speaker
Sally Poolat holds an Executive MBA from Yeshiva University and Bachelor’s of Business Administration from Hofstra University. She brings 33 years of leadership, stakeholder management, supply chain, and logistics experience to Leket, having previously served as a Worldwide Sales Manager at FedEx Corporation. During her time there, she received the prestigious FedEx Ambassador and President’s Club honors. Sally led a team of experienced logistics consultants who traveled across the U.S. to deliver complex logistical solutions for top-tier global clients. In 2020, Sally made Aliyah with her family, following her daughter, who joined the IDF as a lone soldier and now serves in reserves as a medic. Sally currently resides in Ra’anana, Israel with her spouse, their Labradoodle, Bamba, Cockapoo, Bailey, and their daughter when she's not in reserves or studying at university.
