About our speaker
Daniel Greyber is the rabbi of Beth El Synagogue in Durham, NC. He is a Senior Rabbinic Fellow at the Shalom Hartman Institute, in Jerusalem, an Adjunct Faculty Member at Duke Divinity School and is currently pursuing a Doctor of Hebrew Literature (DHL) degree with a specialization in Bible at the Jewish Theological Seminary (JTS). Greyber is the author of two teshuvot approved by the Committee on Jewish Law and Standards (CJLS) of the Conservative movement and his book, “Faith Unravels: A Rabbi’s Struggle with Grief and God” offers a poignant exploration of his personal journey through grief following the loss of two close friends.
