Shabbat Shorashim (Roots) is a joyful, musical Shabbat morning prayer experience for young children and their grown-ups, led by Cathy Kaplan and Karen Daniel. This engaging, participatory service ends in the Sanctuary as we join the congregation for final blessings, followed by Kiddush (grape juice), Motzi (challah), and a kid-friendly lunch in the Social Hall. Save the date for a special havdalah edition of Shabbat Shorashim on Saturday, Jan. 24. Together, we will chant blessings, sing songs, and enjoy toddler-friendly activities to explore the ritual of Havdalah. There will be food and abundant conversation!
