Warm Up America is a national non-profit organization that provides hand-knitted and crocheted blankets, clothing, and accessories made by volunteers across the country and donates them to people in need of comfort and warmth. Our Sisterhood Warm Up America group meets on the second Tuesday of each month and makes knit/crochet blankets. Please stop by to pick up yarn, drop off rectangles, chat, or crochet/knit with the group!

Our afghans are made of individually knitted or crocheted rectangles, each one measuring 7 inches by 9 inches. If you have crocheted or knitted rectangles that you’d like to contribute, please let Dara know and pick-up or drop-off can be arranged. Donations of medium weight, acrylic yarn are always welcome!
