Yom Kippur Family Service

Thursday, September 16, 2021 10 Tishrei 5782

9:00 AM - 9:45 AMin the tent/Zoom

Join us for an intergenerational family prayer experience as we explore the power and meaning of Yom Kippur.  We will chant from the Torah, reflect on regret and forgiveness, and chant some of the central prayers from our tradition — all with a child-friendly approach. This service is geared towards young children, ages 0-10.

Out of an abundance of caution, all those over the age of 2 participating in the family services on Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur are required to wear face coverings. The rabbis will remove their face coverings while leading the outdoor service when we are physically distant from those seated under the tent. The rabbis will promptly replace their masks when socializing in closer proximity before and after the service. In alignment with our Jewish values, it is critical that we protect the most vulnerable among us, most especially young children who cannot be vaccinated at this time. We look forward to you joining us in such a way that we maximize community connection while minimizing risk of harm.

For those who prefer to join us from home, please register below to receive a Zoom link that will give you remote access to our outdoor service. Note: The production quality will not be on par with what we have indoors. We appreciate your understanding in advance.

Registration below is only required to receive the Zoom link. Members will receive the direct Zoom link in a High Holy Day email reminder. Registration is not necessary for in-person attendance.
