On Wednesday mornings from 11 a.m.-noon, between Simhat Torah and Shavuot, Rabbi Eric, Rabbi Jenny, and Amy Ripps rotate as instructors at these drop-in study sessions. No need to commit to attend every session; all sessions standalone. Join in at any time! These sessions are open to members and prospective members.
Rabbi Eric Solomon will teach from Pirkei Avot (literally, “Chapters of the Fathers,” but generally translated as “Ethics of Our Fathers”) — a collection of ethical teachings and maxims found in the Mishnah. Pirkei Avot is one of the best-known and most-cited of Jewish texts. A Zoom link is sent upon registration. Click for study text Pages 176-211 and Pages 205-233.
Interested in other topics? Rabbi Jenny teaches a class on Insights Into Jewish Prayers and Amy Ripps teaches Conservative Judaism — What was it? What is it? What might it be? Note: The Zoom link is the same for all three classes — no need to register for all three classes if you'd like to attend every week.
